Wayne Jeffrey Baker, age 55, of 82 South Street, Bassett passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Brian Center, Fincastle, VA. He was born March 11, 1960 in New York to Judy Marie Gadway Midkiff.

He was a cement truck driver for the Boxley Company for over 10 years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon Donovant Baker of the home, three sons, Kevin Baker and Benjamin Baker both of Bassett and Matthew Baker of Collinsville, two daughters, Heather Harding and Brittany Baker both of Bassett, five grandchildren, Haylee Baker, Bentley Baker, Travice Wade, Jr., Bryson Baker and Lilee Baker and by two uncles, Richard Baker and James Baker who helped raise him.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn and at other times at the home.
