Vivian Irene Morrison Martin, age 77, of Martinsville, died on April 02, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. She was born in Henry County on January 04, 1933 to the late Eugene and Ollie Foster Morrison. In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband Alvin Coy Martin, her brother, Douglas Morrison and her sister, Eva Mae Hendricks.
She was a retired waitress and last worked at the Park and Eat Restaurant in Collinsville.
She is survived by her son, T. Wayne Mosely of Ridgeway, her daughter, Linda C. Ramsey of Roanoke, one step son, Andrew Martin of MD, two step daughters, Valerie Williams and Kathy Jordan both of MD, special nephew James Leonard "Jamie" Hendricks of Bassett, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Vivian on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Building at 1201 Old Leaksville Road, Ridgeway.
Memorial donations may be made to the family for a Marker Fund to; Wayne Mosely, 680 Matrimony Creek Road, Ridgeway, VA 24148.
