Obituary
Virgil Lee Ball, age 86 formerly of Collinsville, died Sunday, Augus 17, 2014 at the Golden Living Center, Martinsville. He was born in Rowan County, NC to the late Charles R. and Cora Rakes Ball on November 5, 1927. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles R. Ball, Jr. and Leonard Ball and a granddaughter Kristin Ball.
He was retired with over 30 years service with NASA in Hampton, Va.
He is survived by two sons, Alex Wesley Ball of Collinsville and David Kelly Ball of Henry, a daughter, Cynthia Keith of Collinsville a sister Virginia Elaine Green, eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
His service will be private.
Arrangements are by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
