Vicki Lee Belton Herndon, age 56, of Herndon Lane, Axton, died on September 20, 2014 at the Danville Regional Medical Center. She was bon on September 28, 1957 in North Carolina to the late James Y. and Peggy Carter Belton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Herndon in 2011.
She was the owner-operator of National Auto Glass and Art in the Collinsville area for over 16 years and had worked with her family at National Glass for many years.
She is survived by her two brothers, Ricky (Patricia) Belton of Spencer and Chris (Barbara) Belton of Martinsville, a step-son, Wally Herndon, Jr., of Axton a step-daughter, Denise Ingram, of Axton, Father and Mother-In-Law, Roy (Evelyn) Herndon of Axton, three step-grandchildren, Hailey Ingram, Jacob Ingram and David Joyce, one step-great-granddaughter, Kiley Moore and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Moorefield officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Herndon family cemetery in Axton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 6-8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn and at other times at the home of her in-laws at 153 Herndon Lane, Axton.
The family requests donations in memory of Vicki to be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
