Trula Beatrice Perkins Fields age 92 of Martinsville passed away Friday Sept. 29, 2017 at Blue Ridge Rehab Center. She was born Oct. 12, 1924 in Swords Creek, VA to the late Harrison and Mallie Dye Perkins. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by one granddaughter, Kimberly Fields, six brothers, Leonard, Bernard, Worley, Herbert, Henry Lee, and Guy Perkins, and three sisters, Esther, Marie Miller, and Margie Perkins.
She was of the Holiness Faith, and retired from DuPont with over 20 years service.

Mrs. Fields is survived by two sons, Donald Irvin Fields of Collinsville, Charley Robert Fields of Gulfport, MS, two daughters, Sandra Lynn Whitlow and Anna Marie "Connie" Hodges both of Martinsville, one brother, William Franklin Perkins of Greenville, SC, two sisters, Flora Margaret, and Nettie Catherine, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Tuesday Oct. 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Maureen Fields officiating and interment to follow in the Roselawn Burial Park.
