Thomas "Tommy" Wayne Tucker, Sr. age 60, of Martinsville, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 at SOVAH Health in Martinsville. He was born March 8, 1957 in Martinsville to the late Byrd Tucker, Sr. and Joyce Ann Campbell Tucker. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by one son, Thomas Wayne Tucker, II, and one brother, Byrd "Junior" Tucker.

Tommy was a graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School Class of 1975, attended the Salvation Army Church, worked at Pannill Knitting, and worked at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

He is survived by his son Matthew Tucker of Martinsville, two brothers, Aaron Tucker of Fieldale, and Mark Tucker of Preston, and numerous other family members and friends.

Tommy's funeral service will be Thursday Dec. 7, 2017 in the Roselawn Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
