Thomas McCoy Richardson age 79 of Martinsville passed away Thursday Dec. 6, 2018 at Sovah Hospital, Martinsville. He was born in Martinsville to the late Charlie M. and Odell Meadors Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Betty Hopkins Richardson on May 2, 2018, one brother, Ronnie Lee Richardson, and his sister, Patricia Ann Richardson.

He was of the Baptist faith, and retired from Tultex with 41 years of service.

Mr. Richardson is survived by three daughters, Gloria Wright of Fieldale, Marlene Foster of Collinsville, and Sharon Meeks of Cascade, one granddaughter, Zoey Collins of Cascade, two brothers, Randy and Wayne Richardson of Martinsville, and devoted caregiver Patricia Harris.

The funeral service will be Wednesday Dec. 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Bishop Sidney Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
