Thelma Gertrude Amos Jones, age 80, of Martinsville, passed away on December 23, 2018 at her residence.  She was born in Martinsville to the Late Rossie Clyde  and Lilly Horsley Amos on May 24, 1938.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Clay "Casey" Jones in 2003, a son, Tony Clay Jones, a brother, Rossie M. Amos, and her sisters, Lula Eanes, Evelyn Bates, and Susie Smith.

She attended Church of Christ and had worked for 30 years before retiring from Sara Lee.

She is survived by her sons, Michael "Mike" Lewis (Lisa) Jones of Ridgeway and Mark Clyde Jones of Martinsville, her daughter, Debra Jones (B.L.) Ratcliff of Martinsville, a brother, William "W.D." Spencer of Axton, grandchildren, Amanda Ratcliff Hawks, Kevin Jones, Casey Jones and Lacey Jones Ashworth, and great-grandchildren, Grayson Hawks and Spencer Ashworth.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Schelling officiating the service.  Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Roselawn.  Online condolences may be made to www.roselawnchapelfuneralhome.com .
