Sylvia Forrest Lawson, age 71, of 615 Watt Street, Martinsville died on Monday, November 07, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. She was born in West Virginia on March 02, 1940.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jack Lawson of the home, a son, Jack Lawson, Jr. of Smithfield, VA, two daughters, Norma Earles of Richmond, and Doris Hale of Fork Mountain, four brothers, three sisters, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 08, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Roselawn Burial Park. Pastor Charles Harrison will officiate the service.
Arrangements are by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
