Steven Otis "Steve" Nunn age 63 passed away at his home in Bassett on Saturday Dec. 24, 2016. He was born Oct. 9, 1953 in Welch, WV to the late Clyde James and Florence Velva Cline Nunn. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by the love of his life, Deloris Ann Jennings Nunn, who he is now reunited with.

Steve graduated from John D. Bassett High School Class of 1973. He worked for Tultex, and later for Swing Transport until his medical retirement. He was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Clyde J. Nunn, Jr. and Eldon L and wife Cindy Young, both of Bassett, sister in law Teresa Emberson and husband Daryl, and brother in law Johnny Jennings and wife Kay. He will be missed by his remaining friends and family.

Steve's funeral service will be Thursday Dec. 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor Milford Witt officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
