Sonny B. Jennings age 76 of Martinsville passed away on Friday June 26, 2015 at Riverside Health and Rehab in Danville. He was born on March 10, 1939 in Pittsylvania County to the late George Washington and Lillie Bell Lipford Jennings. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife Stella Rogers Jennings, and two sisters, Jean Helen Harris, and Virginia Frances Martin.

Sonny was a member of Bethel Way of the Cross Apostolic Church, and had been disabled for many years.

He is survived by one brother, George Henry Jennings of Danville, two sisters Lorraine Jennings Martin of Martinsville, and Mille Ann Brandon of Axton, and numerous other relatives.

The funeral service will be Tuesday June 30, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Roselawn Chapel with Bishop John Campbell, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:00 pm, prior to the service on Tuesday in the Roselawn Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Roselawn Burial Park.
