Sinia Shumate Hutcherson, 89, of Charlotte, NC., passed Friday, July 18, 2025 at Laurels in Highland Creek Assisted Living in Charlotte, NC. She was born December 13, 1935, to the late Ivory Edward and Dora Bell Adams Shumate. Sinia retired from Roses Department Store and was of the Holiness Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Anthony Hutcherson, and a brothers, Charlie Shumate, and two sisters; Virginia Ferguson and Mildred Tuggle.

Leave to cherish her memory are one son and daughter-in-law; Barry Anthony and Teresa Hutcherson, one daughter and son-in-law; Glenda and Harold Tyree, one sister, Belva S. Clay, three grandchildren, Justin Tyree, Brian and Tim Hutcherson, and one great-great grandchild, Aubree Tyree

Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Director Kelly G. Ratcliff, Officiating. Interment will be private in Roselawn Burial Park.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to services beginning at 12:00 Noon.
