Shirley Clark Davis, 82, of Martinsville, passed away Friday March 4, 2022. She was born on January 20, 1940, to the late Avis Stanley Clark. She was of the Baptist Faith, and retired from Sara Lee Knitting and later with Wal-Mart. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter T. Davis, one son, Edward Brewer and three sisters, Virginia Jenkie Murphy, Frances Taylor and Dorothy "Dot" Bullock. Surviving are one son Doug (Sharon) Brewer, Daughter-In-Law; Shilea Brewer, one sister, Mary Jane Plaster, five grandchildren, Andy Stidam, Billy (Ali) Brewer, Candice Brewer, Collin Brewer and girlfriend Tori Pennington, and Ryan Brewer, two great-grandchildren, Waylon and Dixie Stidam, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday March 9, 2022, in Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Director Kelly Ratcliff officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
