Sandra Faye Souther, 73, of Martinsville, passed Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Sovah Health of Martinsville. She was born December 2, 1948, to the late James Albert and Myra Johnson Souther. She was retired from Legal Aide Services in Reston, Virginia, where she never lost a case. She was awarded Paralegal of the Year for the Greater Washington DC. Area during her career. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers; Jimmy, Douglas, Kevin, and John Souther. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, James Edward and Elizabeth Beckley. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway with Rev. Jimmy Nester officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:AM until 12Noon in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home prior to the Graveside service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the American Lung Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD. 30144
