Irene Hudson Willis age 83 of Martinsville, died Monday August 9, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County. She was born May 2, 1927 in Stuart, VA to the late Joe Bob and Flossie Woodall Hudson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Walter C. Willis, one sister Marie H. Martin, and six brothers, Reid, Bryant, Leonard, Carl, Joe, and John Hudson.
She was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church, and retired from DuPont with over 35 years of service.
She is survived by one brother, Walter Hudson of Longs, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Friday August 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. Keith Spangenberg officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday August 12, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel.
