Roy Douglas White, 81, of Axton, passed on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Sovah Health of Martinsville. He was born July 7, 1942, to the late Gordy W., and Georgia Griffith White. He was retired from Chatham Oil and attended Mercy Crossing Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Belle Simpkins White, son, Roary White, and brother, Kenneth White.
Surviving are his daughter, Anita Dawson, brother, Dewey White, sister, Kathy White, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 12, 2024, in Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Woods officiating, interment will be private.
