R. Herman Turner passed away December 8, 2020 at the age of 97. He was preceded in death by brothers; Ernest, Hosea, Melvin, and Lloyd Turner, sisters; Alvie Foley, Roberta Mills, Verna Mae Brim, and Barbara Clark. He was married to Lois Biggs Turner (deceased) for 73 years.

Surviving are his son; Bobby Turner (Linda), daughter; Brenda Holt (Richard), grandchildren; Aimee Haiston (Kevin) and Brian, great-grandchildren; Raaven Hairston and Nick Hairston, and sister-in-law; Ann Turner.

Mr. Turner was the owner and Operator of Herman's Shoe Shop. He was also a member of Old Center Primitive Baptist Church.

The family would like to give special thanks to Heaven of Rest Christian Nursing Home and Mountain Valley Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Burial Park on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00PM. Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.
