Ronald Wayne Fudge age 71 of Collinsville, died Thursday December 15, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. He was born May 4, 1940 in Martinsville to the late Charles Albert and Beulah Jacque Fudge. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was of the Methodist faith. He was retired from DuPont in Martinsville with 30 years service, and later worked at Bassett Furniture.
He is survived by his spouse Carolyn Bowers of Fieldale, one son, Charles Campbell of Figsboro, one daughter Sherri Campbell of Fieldale, one sister Jackie Atkins of Kitty Hawk, NC, three grandchildren, Cody Baker, Kaitlyn Baker, and Sarah Campbell, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be Saturday Dec. 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. Ken Cleveland officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park with military honors by the Martinsville Henry County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel.
