Roger Leon Williams age 56 died Friday October 18 , 2013 at his home in Fieldale. He was born Jan. 30, 1957 in Martinsville to Mattie Ruth Keaton Williams of Martinsville, and the late Leon Williams. In addition to his father, he was also predeceased by his brother Donald Williams.

He was a graduate of Bassett High School, worked in the local furniture factories and was a auto mechanic, until he became disabled. He was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his son and daughter in law, Michael Scott and Siriporn "Tao" Williams of Locust Grove, VA, two grandchildren, Thaira and Thomas Williams both of Locust Grove, VA, and two sisters, Linda Cole of Fieldale, and JoAnn Griffin of Sanville.

The funeral service will be Monday Oct. 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastors David Deisher and David Keaton officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
