Roger Allen Turner, 71, of Bassett, passed Thursday March 20, 2025, at Stanleytown Health and Rehab. He was born June 19, 1953, to the late Allen Turner and Alice Ratliff Young. Roger had worked for various furniture companies in Henry County. In addition to his father, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda English Turner, and a brother, Ronnie Turner.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Janice Turner, brother, Ricky Turner, and one sister, Mary Ann Young, and three grandchildren, Autumn Nicole, Isaac and Savannah Shelton, five great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

At the family's request all services will be private.
