Robert Leon "Bobby" Todd, Sr. age 85 of Martinsville, passed away on Saturday March 22, 2014 at The VA Hospital in Salem. He was born January 22, 1929 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Walter Lee and Ruth Lucke Todd. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by one daughter Shirley Marie Todd, three brothers, Walter Todd, Jr, Donald Todd and John Todd, and one sister, Ann Pruitt.

Bobby was a U.S. Army veteran, and he served during the Korean War. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, and worked for Auto Sales and Body Company for over 48 years.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Margaret Bollings Todd of the home, two sons, Robert Leon Todd, Jr. of Collinsville, and Jeffrey William Todd and daughter in law Cindy of Rocky Mount, one daughter and son in law, Pamela Todd and Mark Nester of Chapel Hill, TN, one brother Dal "Buddy" Todd of Milton, FL, two sisters, Margie Lawson of Martinsville, and Hazel Todd of Milton, FL, five grandchildren, three step grand Children, one great grandson, and two step great granddaughters.

The funeral service will be Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 11:00 am in Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park with Military Graveside Honors by the Martinsville- Henry County Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Raymond Crandall, Tye Pruitt, Gerald Lawson, Joey Lawson, Mark Bollings, Charles Bollings, Dean Barbour, Danny Barbour. Honorary pallbearers will be, Hannah Nester, Heather Todd, Lauren Todd, Seth Todd, Sabrina Meyer, Kayla Crandall, and Alexis Crandall.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday March 25, 2014 in the Roselawn Chapel, and at other times at the home on 197 Smith Rucker Rd., Martinsville.
