Richard Alfred Rowland, 80, of Martinsville, Passed Monday, November 11, 2024, at Mulberry Creek Health and Rehab. He was born January 29, 1944, to the late Jesse William and Erlene Miller Rowland. He served in the United States Navy and was retired from Stanley Furniture Co. where he worked as a Security Officer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Keith Rowland. and two brothers: Samuel and Larry Rowland.

Surviving are his brother, Steve Rowland and a Sister-in-law: Charlotte Rowland, and one grandson; Jessie Rowland, niece, Debbie ( Darrell) Pruitt. and nephew, Randy (Patty) Rowland.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 15, 2024, with Director Kelly Ratcliff, officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Martinsville-Henry County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.  Interment will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
