Obituary
Richard Lee Marshall, age 68 of Martinsville, died on January 23, 2017 at the Duke University Hospital. He was born in Danville on May 6, 1948 to the late George David and Mary Ann Woodson Marshall. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Marshall and a brother, Cliff Marshall.
He had been a heavy equipment operator for 25 years with Duke Power. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife Catherine "Cathy" Lance Marshall of the home, three brothers, David Marshall, George Marshall and Dennis Marshall all of Danville, two sisters, Ruby Sizemore of Providence, NC and Shelia Shomali of Danville.
His graveside service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Roselawn Burial Park at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Daniel Royo officiating.
