Peggy Ann Lundy Taylor, 72 of Bassett, went to be with her heavenly father on Monday, June 11, 2018.  She was born on April 24, 1946 to the late Robert Swanson and Georgia Harvel Lundy in Roanoke County.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lundy Martin and her Daughter-In-Law, Melissa Minnick.

Peggy was a member of One Accord Baptist Church and had been the Director of the Food Pantry with the church.  She had worked for Tultex and graduated from Bassett High School Class of 1958.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ralph Taylor of the home, her son, Robert "Bobby" Minnick of Bassett, her daughter, Georgia Kay Minnick of Bassett, her brother, Rev. Tony (Barbara) Lundy of Bassett, three grandchildren and one one great-grandchild.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the One Accord Baptist Church, Martinsville with Rev. Dr. J. D. Harmon officiating the service.  Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the church.
