Pearl Ola Mellott, age 90, of Roanoke, passed away on May 12, 2017 in Salem. She was born in Carlisle, PA on September 22, 1926 to the late Ray and Ethel Webster Mellott. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Stinchcomb.

She was a member of Beckham United Methodist Church and had worked for Pannill Knitting for over 35 years.

She is survived by her son, Robert Mellott and wife Sylvia of Killeen, TX, a sister, Mary Jane Mellott of Roanoke, a niece, Jeanne Stinchcomb of Gettysburg, PA and a nephew, Craig Stinchcomb of Pasadena, MD.

Her graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor David Westmoreland officiating the service. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
