Pauline Moore Jones age 95, died Saturday Nov. 17, 2012 at King's Grant. She was born Nov. 23, 1916 in Stokes County, NC to the late Johnnie Robertson and Lottie Jane Knight Moore. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband James G. Jones, four sisters, Aldeen Hurd, Lucille Jones, Mattie Rae Vernon, and Jessie Mae Dillon, and six brothers, Ray D., George T., Thomas J., Sam W. , Wayne A., and James R. "Bud" Moore.
She was a member of Starling Avenue Baptist Church, and retired from DuPont with over 32 years of service.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Cath Green of Palm Beach, FL, two grand daughters, two great grandchildren, three sisters, Mary Helen and Gracie Ann Knight of Madison, NC, and Pat James of Madison, NC, and two brothers, Walter J. and Curvie E. Moore both of Madison
The funeral service will be Tuesday Nov. 20, 1916 at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Chaplain Paul Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel, and after the service they will receive friends at the home of nephew Johnnie L. Jones at 1524 Kenmar Drive, Martinsville.
