Pauline Watkins Jones, age 88 of Martinsville passed away on January 29, 2018 in Greensboro at Beacon Place Hospice. She was born on June 13, 1929 in Price, North Carolina to the late George and Annie Mae Purdy Watkins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Adron Jones, brothers, Maynard, Bill and Rob Watkins, and sisters, Eunice Burnette, Gladys Sheffield and Debra Price.

She was a member of Whites Chapel Baptist Church, a Beautician with the National Beauty College, and had worked at WM Bassett Furniture.

She is survived by sons, Michael David Fulp of Martinsville, and Eddie (Lisa) Jones of Yanceyville, NC, a daughter, Shelia Jones (Neal) Goins of Martinsville, brothers, Donnie Watkins of Martinsville, Glen Watkins of Collinsville, and Doug Watkins of Bassett and sisters, Jeanette Gills of Winston-Salem, NC and Cheryl Wells of Martinsville, five grandchildren Jason Jones, Jennifer Hillstrand, Brittney Scruggs, Heather Tolbut and Beth Vires and eleven great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roselawn with Pastor Jimmy Wood officiating the service. Burial will be private in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
