Patricia "Pat" Watkins Adkins, age 75, of Smith Rucker Rd., Martinsville, died on Monday, December 02, 2013 at her residence. She was born on December 17, 1937 in Henry County to the late Clyde Jasper and Gertrude Stone Watkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, E.K. Adkins.

She was a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church and a co-owner, operator with her husband, E.K. of City Auto Center. She was a graduate of Bassett High School and had attended Patrick Henry Comm. College and the former Perry Business College.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sherri Bowles of Anderson, SC, three granddaughters, Amber, Ashley and Allison Bowles and two aunts, Dorothy Turner of Bassett and Virginia Stone of Henry.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Lawrence Harris officiating the service and interment following in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel on Saturday.
