Patricia Davis Hicks age 60 of Providence, NC went home to be with the Lord on Thursday December 10, 2015 at Danville Reg. Med. Cen. She was born Dec. 28, 1954 in Danville, VA to the late Reuben Clark Davis and Lessie Miller Davis Smith of Alta Vista, VA. In addition to her father, she was also predeceased by her husband, Bobby Hicks, and her sister Vickie Long.

Patricia attended Northside Baptist Church, and was employed by Royal Textile Mill in Yanceyville, NC. She also owned and operated Hicks Carpets for many years, along with her husband Bobby Hicks.

She is survived by her mother and step father, Lessie Davis Smith and John Smith of Alta Vista, VA, one daughter, Stacey Watkins of Martinsville, two step daughters, Bobby Gaye Sims, and Eve Tilley, both of Martinsville, two brothers, Reuben Steve Davis of Danville, and Phillip Wayne Davis of Wilmington, NC, two half brothers, Kevin and Keith Davis of Danville, four sisters, Cynthia Davis of Providence, NC, Deanna Taylor of Milton, NC, Annette Koulelis of Florida, and Tracey Dent of Albany, GA, six grandchildren, Daron Watkins, Douglas Watkins, Matthew Oldham, Malorey Oldham, Melanie Oldham, Michelle Sims, and one great grand daughter Chloe Oldham.

Patricia's graveside service will be Monday Dec. 14, 2015 in Roselawn Burial Park at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ron Peal officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
