Patricia Ann Doss Jones, age 58, of 238 Hobson Road, Axton, died on August 26, 2012 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 07, 1954 in Danville, VA to the late Elmer Howard "Jack" Doss, Sr. and to Louise Meadows Doss Reynolds of Dry Fork.
She was a graduate of G.W. High School in Danville, attended Temple and Crosspoint Baptist Churches. She was a state representative for Kairos Prison Ministry. She was an insurance clerk for the Heart of Virginia, working closely with Dr Haq and Dr. Painter.
She is survived in addition to her mother, by her husband of 38 years, Clyde S. Jones of the home, two sons, Michael Lee Jones and Christopher Brian Jones both of Martinsville, two brothers, Elmer Howard Doss, Jr. of Dry Fork, and George Harrison Doss of Chatham, one sister, Jackie "Polly" Dix, of Reidsville, NC, and two grandsons, Micah DeAundray Jones and Matthew Adam Hairston of Martinsville.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastors Don Reynolds and Eddie Hawks officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn and at other times at the home.
