Novella Ruth Dollarhite Meadows, of Spencer, VA., passed, Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Sovah Health of Martinsville. She was born July 30, 1937, to the late Willie Jefferson and Noma Vipperman Dollarhite. She was of the Primitive Baptist Faith, and was retired after 25 years with Bassett-Walker in the sewing department. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugen Meadows, one son, Richard Steve Meadows, daughter, Rebecca Lynn Meadows, five brothers; Hassell, Herbert, Hunter, Bernie, Carl Dollarhite, one sister, Lillie Moorefield. Surviving are her son, John Meadows, and two sisters; Stella Hopper and Mary Odell. At Ruth's request, services will be private and interment will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
