Nick Roosevelt Wooten, 81, of Martinsville, passed Wednesday, July 1, 2026. He was born on January 21, 1945, to the late James Robert and Bertha Johnson Wooten, and retired as a truck drive. In addition to his parents, Nick was preceded in death by a brother, James Thomas Wooten.

Surviving are three sons; Octavia Johnson, Frankie and Dwight Wooten, three daughters; Ashley and Lamenla Wooten, and Chery Denice Crawford, three sisters; Dana Dillard, Patricia Wooten, and Margaret Robles, nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday July 15, 2026, in Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.

 the family will receive friends one hour prior to services beginning at 10:00 A.M.  Interment will be private in Roselawn Burial Park
