Obituary

Nathan Daniel Worrell, 65, of Martinsville, went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born, October 14, 1958, to late Dennie Robert Worrell, and Dorothy Quesinberry Fleming.  He was retired from proudly serving in the United Sates Army, National Guard, and later from the City of Martinsville.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Stepfather, Jay Fleming, Step-brother; Lloyd Jay "Scooter" Fleming, his Paternal Grandparents, Ray and Mintoria Worrell and Maternal Grandparents, Kyle and Gertrude Quesinberry.

In addition to his mother, Nathan is survived by his adored wife of 28 years, Barbara Donavant Worrell, sister, Deborah Linkous and husband, Henry, Step- Sister, Valerie Lejman and husband, Dan, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Hawks officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Martinsville-Henry County Veteran's Memorial Honor Guard.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to services, interment will be private.
