Nancy Hancock Mays age 67 of Collinsville died Saturday December 17, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. She was born July 30, 1944 to the late Harry Graham Hancock and Mae Seay Hancock of Collinsville. In addition to her father, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Mays "Ginger" Hale in 2005, and one brother, James Larry Hancock in 2010.
She was a member of Smith Memorial UMC, and was retired as an office administrator for General Motor Lines Trucking Company and Stanley Furniture Company.
In addition to her mother, Mae S. Hancock of Collinsville, she is also survived by one brother, Robert G. "Bobby" Hancock of Spencer, and one sister, Jo Ann H. Nichols of Oak Level, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday December 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. Dr. Tilden Bridges officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
