Nancy Harris Davis, age 71, of 211 Figsboro Road, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. She was born on November 09, 1944 in Ridgeway to the late Beverly Harris and Ruby Nelson Harris. She was also preceded in death by a brother Howard Harris and a sister Barbara Ann Kitchen.

She attended McCabe Memorial Baptist Church and had retired with over 44 years service with Bassett Walker and had worked for Springs for 5 years.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Wayne Davis of the home, a son Jerry Davis of Stoneville, NC, a daughter, Ann Davis Adkins of Martinsville, a brother William Harris of Price, NC, three sisters, Lois Lester and Linda Stewart both of Stoneville, NC and Sandra Moore of Mayodan, NC, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Wilkie officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn.
