Nancy Louise Bates Hanks, 81, of Martinsville, Passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Carrol Co, on March 10, 1941, to the late Miles Letcher and Faye Evans Bates. She was retired from Hardees as a biscuit maker. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy H. Bates, and One sister, Mary Elizabeth Farmer. Surviving is her husband, Roger Lee Hanks, three sons, Roy Wesley Hanks, Daniel Lee Hanks, and her adopted son Roy Wesley Hanks, Jr., and eight grandchildren and six Great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Director Kelly Ratcliff Officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and Burial Park are entrusted with arrangements.
