Myrtle Spencer Ingram age 93, formerly of the Hodges Farm Road, died Monday Feb. 11, 2013 at Blue Ridge Rehab Center in Martinsville. She was born March 21, 1919 in Henry County to the late James Green and Sally Belle Oliver Spencer. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Noah Edward Ingram, one daughter Myrtle Marie Ramsey, five brothers, Russell, Herbert, Carl, Henry Clay, and James Everett Spencer, and two sisters, Mary Martin and Nelly Watkins.
She was a homemaker, and member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters in law, James "Jim" and Margaret Ingram of Collinsville, and Wayne and Martha Ingram of Axton, one sister, Gertrude Young of CA, four grandchildren,Richard Ingram, Cathy Plumb, Amy Mason, and Alice Ann Luther, eight great grandchildren, Autumn Jackson, Jodie Ingram, Alex Plumb, Michael Mason, Matthew Mason, Morgan Ingram, Lauren Luther, Joshua Luther, and one great-great grandchild, Erica Ingram.
The graveside service will be Friday Feb. 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Lawrence Harris officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
