Obituary

Myron Eugene Boaz age 61, formerly of Ridgeway, died Friday March 29, 2013 at the Medical Center of Arlington in Arlington, Texas. He was born October 20, 1951 in Ridgeway to the late Cecil Adams and Ruby Jones Boaz. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by two brothers, Cecil Wade Boaz and Thomas Newell Boaz.

He attended Ridgeway Elementary School and Drewry Mason High School. He joined the U.S. Marines and served from 1971 to 1975, and worked for Bell Helicopter in Iran from 1977 to 1979. In 1979 he formed his own company Comp-U-Sel, Inc., in Arlington, Texas, a electronics and computer system company, and was President and CEO until his death. He was an active member of Arlington Baptist Temple.

He is survived by his wife Marielena Gonzalez Boaz of the home in Arlington, one son Richard Anthony Kelley-Boaz, Sr. of Arlington, two grandchildren, Richard A. Kelley-Boaz, Jr. of Arlington, and Alyssa R. Kelley-Boaz of Arlington, one brother, Elmer Boaz of Ridgeway, and one sister, Mary Boaz Hutcherson of Martinsville.

The funeral service will be Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Elder Buck Wardle officiating. Interment will follow in Nettle Ridge UMC Cemetery in Stuart, VA. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM in the Roselawn Chapel on Monday April 1, 2013, and at other times at the home of his sister, Mary B. Hutcherson, 106 Harmony Lane, Martinsville.
