Minnie Ann Wilson Meadows age 74 of Bassett, passed away May 2, at her home. She was born April 23, 1940 in Oakvale, WV to the late Edward and Mary Smith Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Harold D. "West Virginia" Meadows, and a sister, Virginia Robertson.

Minnie was a graduate of Narrows High School, and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She retired from Bassett-Walker Knitting with over 43 years service in the cutting room.

Minnie is survived by her son Greg Meadows of Bassett, a very special friend, Judy, one sister, Betty Woodward of Pearisburg, VA, one sister in law, Ruth Meadows of Spencer, two grandsons, Thomas Wayne Meadows of Phoenix, AZ, and Christopher David Meadows who is serving with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, and one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Monday May 5th at 1:00 pm in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. Tony Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Monday prior to the service, and at other times at the home of her son on 516 Pine Valley Drive, Bassett.
