Mary Jane Fanshaw Roach age 93 passed away Monday October 9, 2017 at her home. She was born April 19, 1924 in Baltimore, MD to the late George W. and Gertrude Elizabeth Mooney Fanshaw. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Fred Irvin Roach, one daughter, Elizabeth Stegall, and one brother Charles Richard Fanshaw.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was the organist for many years. She was also a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter Patsy Dickenson and husband Jeff of Martinsville, of two brothers, George William W. Fanshaw, Jr. of Westminster, MD, and Lawrence Fanshaw of Coral Springs, FL, six grandchildren, Stephanie Anouilh, Melanie Anouilh, Rodney Anouilh, Kim Scearce and husband Chris Bryant, David Scearce and his children, Lilyanne and Celeste Scearce, Daniel Scearce and wife Robin.

The graveside service will be Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12 noon at Roselawn Burial Park with David Harrell officiating. Online condolences may be entered at www.roselawnchapelfuneralhome.com.
