Mary "Louise" Minter Dillon, 97, of Richmond, formerly of Martinsville, passed Tuesday, September 2, 2025.   Louise was born April 12, 1928, to the late Buford Cole and Nora Jane Barrow Minter.  Louise worked for DuPont for a short period of time, and was a volunteer in the Martinsville School System, and with the Martinsville Memorial Hospital.  Louise  was a member of Chatham Heights Baptist Church for more than 60 years.  In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lee Dillon, and a granddaughter, Rachel Hall Young.

Surviving is one son, Ronald Lee Dillon (Susan), two daughters; Patricia D. Young (Chad), and Linda D. Gorris (Jack), one brother, James Lloyd Minter, two sisters; Ruth M. Brown, and Janet M. Gammons, two grandchildren, Corinne Y. Clasbey ( Zach), and LeAnn G. Van Buren (Joe), two great-grandchildren; Cyrus Curtis Clasbey, and Darren Marcus Clasbey, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Hatfield officiating, Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services beginning at 12: noon.
