Mary M. "Maggie" Wilhite Stacey age 77 died Wednesday May 12, 2010 at Stanleytown Health Care. She was born August 29, 1932 in Iaeger, WV to the late Harliss and Bertha Jane Rose Wilhite. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ira Graham Stacey in 1978, four brothers, Ray and Tommy Wilhite, and Cletis and Clyde Lockhart, and four sisters, Cora Mae Lockhart, Lucy Comer, Kathlene Oyler, and Gladys Riffee.
She was a member of the Church at Mercy Crossing, and retired from Bassett-Walker with18 years of service.
She is survived by one son, Jessie Stacey of Collinsville, one daughter Lou Self of Martinsville, one brother, Elmer Lockhart of Bassett, three sisters, Charlene Key of Bassett, Lorraine Cline of Panther, WV, and Martha Rose of Roderfield, WV, one grand daughter, Marcy Martin, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Saturday May 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor Jackie Poe officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel.
