Mary Meade Haynes, age 95, of Martinsville, died on September 28, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. She was born on April 23, 1919 to the late James Robert and Etta Addison Meade in Russell County, VA. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Haynes.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Martinsville. She was a graduate of Martinsville High school and had two years of Business and Art School. She was a Charter member of Patrick-Henry County Allied Families.

Mary is survived by nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. John Fulcher officiating the service and interment to follow in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
