Mary Lou Gauldin Wright, 87, of Axton, passed, Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. She was born February 20, 1937, to the late Leslie Edward and Bessie Bray Gauldin.  She was retired from Tultex, and was a member of Mercy Crossing Church.

In addition to her parents, she was recently predeceased by her husband, Arthur Wright, one brother, Bobby Lewis Gauldin, and one sister, Nellie G. Peters.  She is survived by her son, Carl Wright, and a host of church family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Roselawn Burial Park with Rev. Jimmy Woods officiating.  The family will receive friends half an hour before services.
