Mary Hodges Fain age 93, formerly of Martinsville, went Home to be with the Lord on Sat. Feb. 18, 2017 at Eden, NC. She was born June 17, 1923 in Patrick County to the late Robert Lee and Nannie Stovall Hodges. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Thomas Frank Fain in 2005, grandson, Roger "Bo" Young, great grandson, Robert Jackson Dean, great granddaughter, Kimberly Norris, five brothers, Ben, Kirby, Robert, Moore, and Heywood Hodges, and two sisters, Ima Willard, and Maggie DeHart.

Mrs. Fain was a member of Wesley Memorial UMC, Martinsville Temple #23, Pythian Sisters, and was assistant manager of ladies apparel at K-Mart for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas E. Fain and special friend Pauline Lowe of Martinsville, and Robert T. and Nancy Fain of Las Vegas, NV, two daughters, Marie F. Dean of Eden, NC, and Ellen F. and Lawrence Greer of Bassett, one sister, Lucy Lawson of Madison, NC, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and eight great, great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be Wednesday Feb. 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. Tim Gearhart officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesday Feb. 21, 2017 in the Roselawn Chapel.
