Margaret Veneta Davidson, age 85 of Martinsville, died on August 08, 2011 at the Blue Ridge Rehab Center, Martinsville. She was born in Wythe County, Va. on September 19, 1925 to the late Josiah Showalter Jones and Irena Alitine Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Galbarth Mack Davidson, a son, Paul Mack Davidson, a granddaughter, Terri Lynn Hairston, a great-granddaughter, Kallie Storm Hairston, four brothers and six sisters.
She was a member of the Church of Living Waters, Ridgeway.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Veneta Ferguson of Collinsville and Cherri Lynn Hairston of Bassett, one brother, William (Billy) Jones of Fries, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 09, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Harrison officiating the service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 1/2 hour before the service in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home.
