Margaret H. Hundley age 66 of Martinsville died Wednesday July 14, 2010 at the Hospice Home in Wentworth, NC. She was born July 17, 1943 in Blacksburg, VA to the late Homer and Edith Kathleen Caldwell Hundley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles Gary Hundley, one brother Richard Hundley and one sister Sheena Wooten.
She was retired from Kroger's, and had gone back to work part-time at Kroger's because she loved the people there and enjoyed working there so much.
She is survived by two step-sons, Rickey Lee Hundley of Danville, VA, and Brian Hundley of Murrells Inlet, SC, one step-daughter, Sherry Cartwright of Martinsville, 10 step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, two sisters, Judith Felts of Raleigh, NC and Theresa Gilkerson of Layland, WV, caregivers, and special niece and nephew Rebecca and Donnie Lewis of Reidsville, NC, and her beloved canine companion "Brownie".
The funeral service and graveside rites will be Saturday July 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel and at the Roselawn Burial Park Graveside with Pastor Rickey Lee Hundley officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday in the Roselawn Chapel.
