Luther "Cowboy" Coleman, age 76, of Martinsville, passed away on March 1, 2017 at Stanleytown Health Care Center. He was born in Martinsville on June 29, 1940 to the late Robert R. and Ada Lee Arthur Coleman. He was also preceded in death by a brother Lewis Warren Coleman and a sister, Frances Coleman.

He was a Christian and had worked for Bassett Furniture Company.

He is survived by his nieces, Rena Keffer of Bassett and Michelle Campbell of Ridgeway and a nephew, Charles Coleman.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Lt. George Keith of the Salvation Army ministry to officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Roselawn.
