Lula Belle Gauldin Stump age 72 of Axton passed away Sunday Nov. 24, 2013 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born July 12, 1941 in Martinsville to the late James Coleman and Elizabeth Jane Moxley Gauldin. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother James "Bubba" Gauldin and her sister, Dorothy Owens.

She attended Christ's Church of Martinsville on Spruce St., and had retired from Hooker Furniture Company.

She is survived by one son, Mike Stump of Axton, three daughters, Beatrice Jane Ausburne and Linda Ray Brock, both of Ridgeway, and Frances Lois Tucker of Fieldale, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be Tuesday Nov. 26, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor Buck Wardle officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for 30 minutes prior to the service.
