Obituary

Louella Hall Willis, 89, of Bassett, passed Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the Stanleytown Rehab Center. She was born July 15, 1935, to the late Charlie M. Hall and Bertha Marshall.  She was a member of Spring Street Baptist Church of Martinsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Fleming Willis, and one daughter, Teresa Bergin, three brothers; Junior Hall, Walter Ben Hall, and Leonard Duel Hall, six sisters; Maecell Martin, Milice Arnold, Marie Spangler, Minnie Bell, Maxie Wood, and Opel Jean Bell.

Surviving are, two daughters, Linda Lou Wyatt and husband Frank of Eden,Nc., and Robin Overstreet and husband Tim of Collinsville, brother, Otis Hall and wife Louise of Bassett, four grandchildren: Misty Morris, Frank Wyatt, Danny Lee Utt, Jr., and Christopher Bergin,  nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in Roselawn Burial Park with her grandson, Christopher Bergin Officiating, Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to services at graveside beginning at 12:30 p.m.
